Thanks to Julie I now have a blog!!! It's only taken me about two months to add to it though. The famous tarantula from my blog was kept in a cheese grater,(Yes, Jessica I threw it away.) I named him Tat so no one wins the non-existent prize money. After the Webelos had a good look at him we released him at a nearby park in the shade under a tree.
However, one Sunday Craig called me to his office to look out the window. Crossing the lawn was another tarantula TWICE as large as the first one. He was heading straight for my house. I would rather capture one on my terms than find one in a dark corner of the house. We took this one to a nearby ravine. We have lived here for almost 4 years and I have never seen a tarantula but his year I find two. What luck?!
